I now understand why the internet is crazy about this book. It is such an easy, cozy read! I couldn’t put it down and finished it in two weeks. I have already started the next one in the series and have preordered book #3 that comes out later this month. It is so GilmoreGirl-Lorelai-Luke-esque it’s insane. Because I have watched (and love!) Gilmore Girls, it was really fun creating a world in my head and imagining what Dream Harbor looked like (Stars Hollow inspired obviously) and what Jeanie and Logan were like. The book left me wanting more as I continued to get to know the characters. It is a very slow burn and there isn’t any true physical contact until 149 pages in! It does have some steamy chapters but the language used was cheesy and way too repetitive for me. Nonetheless it is a great fall read and I am excited to continue the series throughout October. Already 100 pages into book #2!
