🥾 Grinnell Glacier Trail- A hike to remember!!📌

If there’s one hike in Glacier National Park that truly leaves you speechless, it’s the Grinnell Glacier Trail! With breathtaking turquoise lakes, towering peaks and up-close glacier views, this adventure is straight out of a postcard✨

🚤 How we started:

The trailhead is right in front of Many Glacier Hotel (one of the best ones I have stayed), making it super convenient to access. We took the Scenic boat tour across Swiftcurrent Lake and Lake Josephine, cutting off 3.4miles from the hike and giving us a unique start to the journey! If you prefer the full trail, you can start at Many Glacier Hotel (but would miss the epic boat ride)💕

📍Trail details:

✅ Distance: 10.6miles round trip (or approx 7.6miles with the boat)

✅ Elevation gain: 1600 ft

✅ Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous

✅ Best time to visit: Late June to September (The trail is often snow covered until mid July and opens fully once conditions allow) Start Planning!!

🍃 The reward? Mesmerizing glacier-fed lake at the top😍

Would you take on this epic hike?

... Read moreThe Grinnell Glacier Trail is not just another hike; it's an unforgettable experience in the heart of Glacier National Park. With a total distance of 10.6 miles round trip or about 7.6 miles if you opt for the scenic boat ride, hikers are treated to stunning views of the turquoise lakes and majestic mountains that surround the area. The trail presents a moderate to strenuous challenge with an elevation gain of 1600 feet, making it ideal for seasoned adventurers and those looking to push their limits. The best time to embark on this adventure is from late June to September, as the trail is often snow-covered until mid-July. Make sure to check trail conditions before planning your hike! Visitors are rewarded with mesmerizing glacier-fed lakes, a sight that is truly phenomenal. With the looming threat of climate change, it's especially important to witness these glaciers up close before they vanish. Don't forget to capture the stunning views along the way and share your own hiking adventures using hashtags such as #hikingadventures and #glaciernationalpark. Are you ready to make memories that last a lifetime on the Grinnell Glacier Trail?
