These snacks are typically low in net carbs (around 2-3 grams per serving) while providing a good balance of protein and fiber, which helps keep you full longer. A keto-friendly snack should ideally have less than 5 grams of net carbs per serving and contain natural ingredients without added sugars. Bars that use sugar alcohols or natural sweeteners like stevia or erythritol are great alternatives because they add sweetness without spiking blood sugar. In my experience, combining healthy fats from nuts and a bit of dark chocolate or caramel flavoring hits the craving just right. I also enjoy experimenting with homemade keto snacks—things like fat bombs made from cream cheese, coconut oil, and a touch of cocoa powder or natural peanut butter.
