EASY 25 MINUTE HONEY GLAZED CHICKEN
This restaurant quality honey glaze chicken has become a staple in my house. Quick, easy, simple, and supperrrr flavorful.
PRO TIPS:
1. PAT DRY CHICKEN WELL
2. START WITH A LOW-MED PAN
Ingredients (roughly measured)
4 CHICKEN THIGHS
¼ CUP CORN STARCH
CORN STARCH SEASONINGS:
1 TBS GARLIC POWDER
1 TBS ONION POWDER
1 TBS PAPRIKA
HONEY GLAZE:
¼ CUP SOY SAUCE
1 ½ TBS OYSTER SAUCE
4 TBS HONEY
1 TBS GARLIC
1 TSP GROUND PEPPER
How to cook:
Step 1&2: Corn Starch Coating
¼ cup corn starch mixed with your corn starch seasonings
Step 3: Pat dry chicken thighs on both sides
Step 4: Coat chicken with corn starch mix on both sides (coat generously)
Step 5: Glaze sauce
Mix in all honey glaze ingredients in a bowl
Step 6: Pan fry chicken on both sides on low med heat until golden brown
Step 7: On low heat add glaze to pan and simmer until sauce slightly thickens (do not simmer until completely thick, this will cause glaze to become too salty)
Step 8: Once glaze is at a desired consistency add in chicken
Step 9: Coat chicken and simmer for about 2 minutes
Step 10: ENJOY!!
