Father: "It's okay, I, when I was a new priest, Father Pan said that if I want to give to the beggar, don't let him talk too much. It means that when I arrive, I don't have to raise my hand. If he asks, I say no. I'm willing to give it. I'm willing to give it to anyone. Don't let him talk too much. Don't waste time as soon as possible. It's really a relief. It's true that if it happens, the next life will get two kinds of fortune. It means that the prepared merit will get rich from the profession. And where I carry things along the way, let's go there unintentionally. Is to win the alms lottery without prior preparation. Anyone can come to us. If you always do this, people beg for alms. We do not allow to say, ask for a hurry. Then it will have an effect in this life. What we fail to think will not appear. We give as much as we can. They do not force us. After a few years, it will start to yield. The product will be more streamlined. But when we give, we do not think about this effect. Must give with real relief is to cut. It is any more. If you think that we want to give for the return, the result will be cut because it is Giving alms consists of greed.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว เมื่อลองปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำของหลวงพ่อ คือการให้ทานอย่างรวดเร็ว ไม่ปล่อยให้ผู้ขอทานพูดต่อเนื่องหรือต้องร้องขอจนก่อความรำคาญ พบว่าจิตใจของเรามีความสงบมากขึ้น ไม่รู้สึกรำคาญหรือต้องการเดิมคืนจากการให้แต่ประการใด การให้ทานเช่นนี้คือการให้จากใจที่บริสุทธิ์ โดยไม่คาดหวังผลตอบแทน นอกจากจะเป็นการช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นได้ทันที ยังช่วยเปิดทางให้เรามีโชคลาภจากการทำงานและโอกาสที่ไม่คาดคิดในชีวิตประจำวันอีกด้วย ผมเคยสังเกตว่าเมื่อให้ทานแบบไม่ต้องให้ผู้ขอทานพูดร้องขอ ยิ่งให้ด้วยความตั้งใจจริงและวางใจให้ผลสำเร็จเป็นเรื่องของธรรมชาติ ปรากฏว่าในช่วงเวลานั้นรายรับมีความคล่องตัวมากขึ้นอย่างน่าประหลาด สอดคล้องกับคำสอนที่ว่า "ตุลิตะ ตุลิตะ สีฆะ สีฆัง" คือธรรมที่ต้องรวดเร็ว ไม่ลังเลช้า โดยเฉพาะการถวายสังฆทานที่ต้องชัดเจน ให้ถูกที่ถูกทาง เพราะจะส่งผลให้ผู้ให้ได้ไปสวรรค์อย่างแท้จริง การเรียนรู้ที่จะไม่คิดหวังผลตอบแทนหรือโลภมากจากการให้ทาน ส่งผลให้ใจเราเบิกบานและเปิดกว้างมากขึ้น เพราะแท้จริงแล้วการให้ทานคือการฝึกฝนใจให้ออกจากความยึดมั่นถือมั่น และเมตตาต่อผู้อื่นอย่างแท้จริง ทำให้เกิดความสุขใจและยังเป็นการสร้างบุญบารมีในชาตินี้อย่างแท้จริง ดังนั้น การให้ทานจึงไม่ใช่เพียงแค่การมอบเงินทองหรือสิ่งของเท่านั้น แต่เป็นการฝึกฝนใจให้มีเมตตากรุณาและให้อย่างไม่ยึดติด ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่จะนำพาให้ชีวิตผู้นั้นประสบความสุขและความเจริญในทุกๆ ด้านได้อย่างแท้จริง
