Starting with a gentle cleanser in the morning removes overnight oils and impurities without stripping moisture, which is essential for sensitive skin types. Adding a Vitamin C serum afterwards brightens the complexion and provides antioxidant protection against environmental damage. Incorporating sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily, even if indoors, prevents premature aging and protects against harmful UV rays. At night, I find double cleansing invaluable—first using a makeup remover or cleansing oil to dissolve sunscreen and makeup, followed by a gentle cleanser to thoroughly clean the skin. The night routine serum is crucial too; I alternate between hyaluronic acid for hydration and retinol for anti-aging benefits, depending on my skin's tolerance. Moisturizing well before bed locks in all the active ingredients and helps skin regenerate overnight. Weekly treatments like hydrating masks or gentle exfoliants help maintain skin smoothness and clarity. Using eye patches or creams has noticeably reduced puffiness and dark circles for me. Overall, this balanced approach of cleansing, protecting, treating, and moisturizing both morning and night has improved my skin’s texture, reduced breakouts, and given me a natural glow that makeup can only enhance. Sticking to this routine consistently is key, and customizing products based on skin needs makes skincare both effective and enjoyable.
