I truly believe in order to set yourself up for a good nights rest, and a productive morning, you need to have a good night routine.
your night routine doesn’t need to be anything crazy or have lots of steps. it just needs to be something that relaxes you, and gets you ready for the next day!
here is my routine:
-packing my lunch
I love to pack my lunch the night before. it’s seriously saves me so much time in the morning, and gives me a peace of mind!
-take a hot shower
night time showers are so relaxing to me. I turn up the heat, and like to listen to music as I shower. bonus points if you have eucalyptus hanging from your shower head!
-skincare routine
taking care of my skin is super important to me. I deal with acne, and find it so therapeutic taking my time while using my products. here is everything I use:
-Byroma moisturizer -$15
-Cocokind eye cream -$19
-Cocokind Turmeric solution -$24
-Good Molecules hyaluronic acid serum -$12
- Laneige lip mask- $24
you can find all of these products at Ulta or Sephora!
-cozy pajamas
pajama sets have my heart! I love changing into comfy clothes at night. I like to shop at Target, or order from Skims for my pajamas!
- spearmint tea
I drink my spearmint tea every night! I love the taste of it, and spearmint is really good for balancing hormones!

1. **Wind Down Time**: Dedicate 30 minutes to unwind before bed. This could include reading a book, meditating, or enjoying calming music. Reducing screen time at least an hour before bed can also help prepare your mind for sleep.
2. **Create a Sleep-Inducing Environment**: Ensure your bedroom is conducive to sleep. This means a comfortable mattress and pillows, dim lighting, and a cool room temperature. Consider blackout curtains to block any disruptive light.
3. **Limit Caffeine and Heavy Meals**: Avoid consuming caffeine in the hours leading up to bedtime. Heavy meals can also disrupt your sleep, so aim to have your last meal at least two hours before going to bed.
4. **Reflect on the Day**: Spend a few minutes journaling before sleep, tracking what went well, your feelings, or even gratitude lists. This practice can help clear your mind, allowing you to relax more effectively.
5. **Consider Aromatherapy**: Incorporating essential oils like lavender or chamomile in your routine can amplify relaxation. Using an essential oil diffuser or applying diluted oils on pulse points could help soothe your mind.
6. **Stay Hydrated but Not Overloaded**: Sipping on herbal tea, such as your favorite spearmint, can be relaxing, but avoid drinking excessive amounts to prevent nighttime bathroom trips.
Embracing these elements into your nighttime routine can not only prepare you for a restful sleep but also enhance your overall productivity for the following day.
