#HADESCHILDREN ;; URGGG I LOVE THEM IM GNA DIE #pjo #percyjackson #nicodiangelo #biancadiangelo why can i only add 5 hashtags wtf
Okay, seriously, I can't even begin to express how much I adore Hades' children in the Percy Jackson universe! Nico di Angelo and Bianca di Angelo (and let's not forget Hazel Levesque, a child of Pluto!) are just *chef's kiss*. They bring so much depth, darkness, and ultimately, hope to the series, and I swear, my heart just melts every time they're on page. First up, Nico di Angelo, the Ghost King himself. From that shy, card-game-loving kid we first met, to the powerful, shadow-traveling demigod, his journey is one of the most compelling. I mean, who doesn't love a character who starts out feeling so lost and alone, often dubbed the "SilentGhostBoy" by fans, but then finds his place and chosen family? His powers, like summoning the dead and shadow travel, are just iconic. And his struggle with his identity and past, especially after Bianca's sacrifice, makes him incredibly relatable. It truly shows how powerful resilience and finding love can be, even for someone who literally walks among the dead. Seeing him grow and build connections, like his friendship with Percy and eventually his relationship with Will Solace, is just everything. Then there's Bianca di Angelo. Oh, Bianca. Her story, though tragically short, leaves such a massive impact, especially on Nico. Her decision to join the Hunters of Artemis, her sacrifice, and the weight of that choice on her brother are pivotal moments in the series. It's a testament to her brave spirit and desire for a new life, even if it meant leaving her past behind. The OCR mentioned a line like, "Good job, Sis," which just highlights that deep, protective bond she had with Nico, and how much he looked up to her. Her memory fuels so much of Nico's early grief and anger, but in a way, it also pushes him towards his destiny. And we absolutely have to talk about Hazel Levesque! As a child of Pluto (Hades' Roman aspect), she totally counts as one of Hades' awesome kids. Hazel’s story is unique, with her past tied to the Underworld and her incredible ability to summon precious metals and gems. The OCR even highlighted interactions involving Hazel, showing her importance. She’s so kind, loyal, and incredibly brave, overcoming her own curses and insecurities. Her relationship with Frank Zhang and her role in the prophecy make her an indispensable member of the Argo II crew. Together, these children of Hades/Pluto represent themes of sacrifice, resilience, finding light in the darkness, and the enduring power of family, blood or chosen. It's no wonder that fans, like me, are constantly creating and sharing art (shoutout to all the amazing "Art creds" mentioned in the OCR!) celebrating these incredible characters. They're just the best!
