✨Scent Layering Ideas✨

Here’s a few scents that I layered over the past few days.

1. 🌸🍭Floral Candy! I love a dupe and Coach Floral was perfect with this Valentino inspired duo. It finished into a sweet floral skin scent that lasted for hours!

2. I did 2 days of a Marshmallow explosion! I found a scent oil inspired by Kilian Love, Don’t be shy and layered with Love Unleashed, which is B&BW’s version of the fragrance. I finished it off with Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb. Long lasting, floral Marshmallow 🌸💖🍀

Fresh Musk is a must of course! This base with Burberry Her (with her dupes🤭) and Marshmallow Blush gave a Berry clean combo🍓🫐🚿

3. As Sweet as a Baby 👶🍬My $8.99 Ross Find: Jean Marc Paris Pink Kiss was perfect with Sweetest Song and Burberry Her. It’s giving a soft, floral baby scent. I got quite a few compliments with this one!

4. ❤️🤝Date Night: My man loved this combo! Infinite Radiance and Burberry London Fabric was sophisticated, but playful. It made date night a success😉😜

... Read moreLayering perfumes is a fun and personalized way to make your scent truly your own. I've found that choosing complementary fragrance notes and textures can turn a simple perfume routine into an indulgent sensory experience. For instance, layering a floral scent like Coach Floral with a sweet vanilla or marshmallow base creates a warm yet fresh aroma that lasts all day. One trick I've learned is to start with a moisturizing base layer, such as a body cream or oil, especially those enriched with shea butter or hyaluronic acid, which lock in scent and hydrate your skin. For example, using a hydrating body cream like Infinite Radiance under a fragrance mist intensifies the scent's longevity and radiance. Don't be afraid to experiment with contrasting notes—mixing fruity berry scents with musk or soft florals can create surprising yet harmonious blends. I've had great success pairing Bath & Body Works Marshmallow Blush with Burberry Her for a clean, cozy berry aroma. Dupes are great budget-friendly options to mix into your layering routine. I enjoy combining a designer-inspired oil with accessible finds like Jean Marc Paris Pink Kiss from Ross for an affordable yet sophisticated fragrance. Friend and compliment reactions often surprise me when I wear such unique blends. Finally, scent layering is not just about the perfume but also the vibe it gives you. Whether you want a playful day scent or a sultry date night aroma, layering offers endless customization that lets you express your personality and mood. Keep a journal of your combinations and how they make you feel—this way, you can recreate or tweak your favorite scents over time for maximum confidence and allure.
