Yes to all of this! Unfortunately, literature has been neglected by too many people nowadays, especially the basic act of simply, reading. I've come across way too many young adults who only look at key words, or stop reading after one sentence. Culture. Please, please, please ladies (and gentlemen but this post is geared towards us): it takes no time to research cultures. If you can look up makeup tutorials, you can do a little research on the different cultures out there. Even if you think you'll never leave your state or even your city, you never know. It will broaden your horizons on how other women live. Finance. I REALLY wish this was taught in high school amd not an option course in college if you're going into that field. A lot of us would be more financially stable and aware. We would know ahead of time about credit scores, mortgage, APRs, saving money, etc. This is a great post and I hope it reaches the younger generation of women!
