look 1:
my tee is from brandy melville & my shorts are from urban outfitters! i love the lacey trim & flattering neckline of this top. to make it a little more festive & introduce blue into the look, i added some vintage lace i cut into stripe to tie onto the sleeves!
look 2:
i found an oversized bedazzled tee from my local thrift & immediately had a vision to turn it into a body con dress with the help of youtube & my sewing machine. i added lacey straps to bring in some white color & a feminine touch! i love adding belts to my dresses, this one is from fossil! i picked out a white pearly beaded bag from poshmark to go with!
look 3:
my tee is from brandy & my striped shorts are from zara! the tee actually says usa on it with a little guitar but my adorable puppy pearl covered it! i paired a red guess mini bag along with the look to tie in with my bow!
look 4:
i wore a royal blue corseted mini dress from urban outfitters one year with a pair of red converse high tops! i love this picture of my boyfriend & i with the firework in the background!
... Read moreThe Fourth of July is not just a celebration of independence; it's also an opportunity to showcase your style. When picking your outfit for this national holiday, consider incorporating the classic colors of red, white, and blue into your look. Here are some additional tips to help you nail your holiday outfit:
1. **Mix and Match Textures**: Pair denim shorts with a light-weight cotton top or opt for a flowy maxi dress that gives you room to move and breathe in warm weather.
2. **Accessorize Wisely**: Accessories can make or break an outfit. Choose statement pieces like a star-spangled headband or layered bracelets in patriotic colors.
3. **Dress for Comfort**: Whether you're attending a barbecue, watching a parade, or enjoying fireworks, comfort should come first. Opt for breathable fabrics and shoes that you can wear all day long.
4. **Sustainable Fashion**: Thrift shops are treasure troves for not just great outfits but also unique pieces that no one else will have. Transforming vintage finds into trendy outfits is a fun way to stand out while being eco-conscious.
5. **Consider the Venue**: Your outfit should align with the activities you'll be engaging in; a picnic outfit may differ from a formal rooftop party.
6. **Personalize Your Look**: Don’t hesitate to incorporate elements that reflect your personality or interests—like adding a band tee to make a statement or customizing your attire with DIY patches.
Have a fun and safe Fourth of July as you celebrate in a way that highlights your unique style!
