“The Smile That Hid My Tears”
This is one of my favorite smiling pictures but it was taken on one of the hardest days of my life. I was at a hotel, alone on a solo birthday trip. I had just finished crying when I took it. I told myself I had to post something for my birthday, so I wiped my tears, smiled, and took the photo.
