Be intentional

It’s not 24/7 intensity.

I train hard, but I also rest with intention.

Control includes knowing when to slow down.

The phrase "Be intentional" truly changed how I approach both my physical training and mental focus. It’s not about pushing yourself relentlessly 24/7, but about training hard when it counts and deliberately resting to recharge. One important concept I’ve embraced is the idea of control—not just physical control but mental control. Knowing when to push forward and, crucially, when to slow down, can prevent burnout and increase long-term productivity. Often labeled as "stoic" or "alpha" traits, this mentality of measured intensity helps cultivate dominance in any field, whether it be fitness, leadership, or personal growth. I also find that labeling certain moments as "Born Again" reflects a recommitment to this lifestyle—acknowledging that rest is part of the process, not a sign of weakness. Incorporating periods of intentional rest improves performance and clarity, allowing me to focus on high-value tasks with greater power and purpose. This approach aligns well with stoicism's emphasis on self-mastery and resilience. Ultimately, adopting a mindset that values both hard effort and strategic rest enhances not only physical strength but mental sharpness and leadership qualities. It’s about cultivating a high-value mentality where every action has purpose, fostering both dominance and balance in life.
