グルーミングは、巧妙に言葉を使いながらターゲットの心の隙間に入り込み、自然に見せかけて性的関係を結ぼうとする危険な行為です。特に、若い女の子だけでなく、境界知能や知的障害、発達障害を抱えた子や毒親育ちの女性は、心理的な弱さや孤独感から狙われやすい傾向があります。彼らはまず甘い言葉や優しい態度で信頼を勝ち取り、その後に連絡先交換や見えない依存関係をつくりだし、やがて性的関係を迫るのが常套手段です。 また、妊娠やトラブルが発生した際に、連絡が突然取れなくなったり、暴力や精神的な支配を受けるケースも多くあります。被害者は「恥ずかしい」「分からなかった」と感じ、泣き寝入りすることも多いですが、これがグルーミングの大きな問題点です。警察や周囲に相談しても理解されないこともあり、被害者自身が孤立しやすい現状があります。 グルーミング被害を防ぐためには、まずこの言葉の意味と手口を正確に理解し、怪しい兆候に敏感になることが重要です。例えば、年上の男性が早い段階で親密さを求めたり、秘密の関係を強調したりする場合は警戒が必要です。信頼できる大人や友人に相談できる環境をつくることも大切です。 また、学校や自治体、地域コミュニティなどで子どもや若者向けにグルーミングの教育や啓発活動を促進する動きもあります。周囲が正しい知識を持ち、被害にあわないための意識を高めることが社会全体の安全につながります。 最後に、この記事を読んだ若い女の子たちには、「あなたの安全と尊厳は何より大事」ということを伝えたいです。『若い女の子は気をつけて』という警告を心に留め、少しでも不安を感じたら身近な大人や専門機関に相談する勇気をもってください。被害者の一人としての声は、同じような状況にいる人の助けにもなります。自分を守り、未来を切り開くための大切な一歩です。
