As our baby approaches the milestone of getting a prosthetic eye, I am reminded every day of the resilience and hope that can come even during the hardest times. This journey completely changed my perspective. It motivated me to pursue a career in nursing, which I once thought was beyond my reach. Now, I am eager to give back and support others facing similar challenges, knowing firsthand the importance of compassionate care.
