romanticize your college winter break🥰🎄

i’ve been missing home so much lately and can’t wait to go home and spend christmas with my family and friends. I think once you leave home you don’t know how much you have to miss until you aren’t there anymore.

for example, there’s so many minuscule christmas things that I didn’t think so much about until now, decorating the house, making cookies, watching christmas movies…I miss it so much!

anyways these are some things that you can do to make the most of your time at home!

1. spend time with your family

this is the biggest and most obvious one, but one we often skip over the most. since being away for school i’ve missed out on little moments in my siblings lives and I want to be able to spend as much time as I can with them while i’m home.

2. go to your favorite restaurant

everyone has their go to restaurant that you went to all the time in your hometown with your friends or family. if you live in a small town like me, we had about 5 restaurants that we’d cycle through. my favorite place though has the most amazing mac n cheese you will ever have and I cannot wait to go back.

3. play in the snow!

be a kid again and go build a snowman or have a snowball fight and then go warm up inside with hot chocolate.

4. go to the christmas tree farm

this one is my most favorite, I LOVE the christmas tree farm they have golden puppies sometimes and two of their family goldens walk around the place. they have the best hot chocolate and just the prettiest lights.

5. make cookies

a classic and so much fun to do with your family.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ❤️💚
