Everything I have “Canva-fied” in my classroom🫶🏼✨

If you’re like me, you probably love to turn everything cute using Canva!

1. A cute to do list just motivates me. I can’t explain it!

2. My pet wall got some pizzazz with a new sign 🫶🏼 if you don’t have a pet wall in your classroom, it’s a must! I email parents before school starts among for photos so they are there on the first day. So welcoming!

3. All of my posters and signs in my room have been upgraded with Canva templates

4. I used a cute Canva template to label my supplies

5. My daily slides are yet another Canva template!! Work smarter, not harder

6. My turn in baskets. You guessed it, a template!

7. Proficiency scales, but make them easy for kids to read.

8. A cute bell schedule just helps the day go by faster. ✨

All of these templates are on my Canva profile. Link in my bio ⭐️

... Read moreUsing Canva to customize your classroom not only spruces up the environment but also enhances organization and student engagement. For instance, a well-designed daily to-do list with clearly defined priorities helps keep both teachers and students focused on essential tasks throughout the day. Creating a pet wall with student photos adds a personal and welcoming touch that strengthens classroom community; collecting photos from parents before school starts ensures the display is ready on day one, making students feel valued and included. Upgrading posters and signs with Canva templates allows for consistency and professionalism in classroom visuals, which can aid student comprehension and maintenance of classroom routines. Labeling supplies using colorful, themed templates not only improves accessibility but also promotes responsibility among students as they learn where to find and return materials. Incorporating proficiency scales designed in Canva simplifies complex learning objectives into child-friendly language, helping students understand what success looks like and encouraging self-assessment. Additionally, daily slides created in Canva streamline lesson delivery by providing clear, visually appealing instructions and transitions, freeing up valuable teaching time. Turn-in baskets with customized labels encourage students to organize their work efficiently, reducing clutter and lost assignments. Finally, a well-designed bell schedule poster can help the school day feel more structured and smooth, easing transitions and time management for all. By leveraging Canva's versatile templates, teachers can work smarter, save preparation time, and create a vibrant, student-centered classroom. Sharing these customized resources, as the author does through their Canva profile, inspires others to personalize their teaching spaces while fostering creativity and welcoming atmospheres that promote learning and positivity.
