what I eat in a day: high protein
this my typical meal plan to try and incorporate more protein in my diet! I recently read that lots of women don’t get enough protein in their diet, and this can have an adverse effect on aging and bone health!
This totals to around 90g of protein a day, which is a big improvement for me! Let me know if you want recipes or links to the specific items shown here!
💪🫶🏻🩷 wishing you all good eats and wellness in 2025!

Eating enough protein is crucial for overall health, especially for women who might be at risk of deficiency. A well-balanced high protein diet can enhance bone health and support muscle maintenance as we age. For a balanced meal plan, aim for a variety of protein sources such as lean meats, dairy, legumes, and nuts. An example day could include: **Breakfast:** Enjoy a filling bagel topped with chicken sausage bites and protein muffins, packing around 40g of protein. **Lunch:** Consider a low-carb chicken quesadilla, which provides an additional 20g of protein, making it both satisfying and nutritious. **Dinner:** End the day with chicken elote bowls that deliver another 30g of protein, rounding out your total protein intake to a healthy 90g for the day. This structured approach to eating can facilitate weight loss and help in meal prep. If you're interested in links to specific recipes or preparation tips, feel free to reach out!
