Hair care with multiple hair types

Hair care with multiple hair types is so hard because you have to cater to both. I have pin straight hair on the top of my head and in some places underneath. And then I have this wavy curl that needs to be hydrated at all times. Here’s what I use to accommodate both. I am also on a hair revitalization journey as I used to straighten my hair every single day, so with that I am in desperate need to fix my hair.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions for other products that might be good.

... Read moreCaring for mixed hair types requires a thoughtful approach that incorporates products specifically designed for different textures. If you have straight hair on top with wavy curls underneath, it's essential to choose hydrating products that can cater to both. Integrate a balanced shampoo that infuses moisture, such as the Garnier Fructis Shampoo infused with jojoba oil and lavender, which effectively cleanses while nourishing drier curls. For styling, curl boosting mousses are fantastic to maintain wave definition without the frizz. Look for lightweight formulas that won't weigh down straighter sections of your hair. Leave-in conditioners, like the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine, can work wonders by providing long-lasting hydration without heavy buildup. Additionally, using a serum that targets frizz control helps keep your hair smooth throughout the day. Most experts recommend a leave-in treatment that can be reapplied as needed, especially in humid weather. As you work on revitalizing your hair, consider protective styles or minimizing heat exposure to prevent any further damage. Regular trims and deep conditioning treatments will also speed up the repair process. Explore different techniques and don’t hesitate to reach out to the community for product recommendations — there’s a wealth of knowledge available, especially with niche brands dedicated to multi-texture care!
