I've been going through a bit of a reading slump lately and this book has cured it. Right from the start this book was a page turner. The tension ... oh my goodness. The story follows Elena Abellli, the "sweet daughter" of New York's Cosa Nostra (aka The Mafia). Her sister is set to marry Nicholas Russo, a boss of another family (also a part of the Mafia). This book made me remember why I love mafia romances so much. The romance and sexual tension was steamy. The man burns down a gas station for her... if that's not love, I don't know what is. Already needing the third book asap!!!
