Starting college as a freshman pursuing a career as an Anesthesiology Assistant has been both exciting and challenging. My typical day usually starts with classes like Biology, which can run for several hours. After finishing my first class, I make sure to grab some food — fueling up is essential because long study sessions and labs lie ahead. Managing time effectively has been crucial for me. Between classes, I often carve out moments for short breaks, sometimes enjoying a matcha tea—it’s both refreshing and energizing, helping me stay focused for the next study session. Studying for exams and labs can be intense, so breaking up study time with these mini-breaks has really helped maintain my concentration and reduce stress. Balancing the demanding academic schedule in courses like Chemistry, which I attend in the evenings, means I’ve had to develop a consistent routine. This routine includes scheduled meal times, study periods, and relaxation moments, helping to maintain my mental and physical well-being. Aside from academics, I’ve been thinking about sharing more of my personal experiences outside of college life.
