Yemanjá the Mother of the Waters and Fertility

After my daughter died, I felt connected to her through water mostly because her name means beautiful sea. However when I returned to Salvador Bahia in Brazil where her father is from , I felt that so strongly.

The strong spiritual connection with the Orixás across this city especially the female Orixás who are close sly connected with waters and fertility, made me truly feel her.

On this trip I was able to send leaves with her name and other beautiful babies names into the sea. A symbol of a message from here to there.
