Once I’ve started it’s hard to stop 😩
Everyone is cracking me up on my crab legs video! Yes it could use more seasoning but y’all I swear C&M is soooo good!
Seafood boils, especially those from Louisiana and Mississippi, are truly a feast for the senses. When I prepared my crab legs and shrimp boil, I used the classic Cajun & Creole (C&M) seasoning, which is known for its bold blend of spices like paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, and thyme. This seasoning brings out an amazing depth of flavor that perfectly complements the sweetness of the seafood. One thing I learned from my experience is the importance of seasoning generously without overwhelming the natural taste of the crab and shrimp. It's a balancing act that anyone can master with a little practice. Also, the social aspect of enjoying a seafood boil can't be overstated—gathering around a table, cracking crab legs, and sharing stories makes the meal much more memorable. If you're new to making shrimp boils or just looking to spice up your recipe, I recommend adding fresh lemon juice and some chopped parsley for that extra burst of freshness. Serving the boil with crusty bread or corn on the cob is another great way to round out the meal. Trust me, once you start, it's hard to stop eating these succulent seafood treats!
