Making Envelopes Out of Trash

I’ve experimented with everything from junk mail and old receipts to even dryer lint (though that needs a bit more processing!). The key is to 'SOAK TRASH' thoroughly – I usually let mine sit overnight, sometimes even longer, especially if it's thicker paper. This makes the 'BLEND TRASH' step much easier. I use an old blender specifically for crafting. The consistency you aim for determines your final paper's thickness. For a more 'cardboard envelope' texture, use less water when blending, creating a thicker pulp. Once you have your pulp, the real magic happens. This is where you 'USE BETWEEN MOLD AND DECKLE.' Sometimes I even use a warm iron on a low setting (with a cloth barrier!) to speed things up and flatten them out beautifully. And trust me, after all that blending and pulping, you'll definitely want to 'CLEAN YOUR DESK' right away to avoid a sticky mess!
