Christmas Snowflake ❄️🤍✨

Hey beauties! So many of you loved my Christmas Snowflake look, and I've been getting questions about how to achieve that gorgeous 'mother of pearl' glow. It's actually easier than you think, and it adds such an ethereal, almost magical touch to any festive makeup! What exactly is mother of pearl makeup? For me, it's all about mimicking that natural, iridescent shimmer you see inside a seashell – soft, luminous, and often shifting with hints of pink, blue, or lavender. It's not just about chunky glitter, but a fine, pearlescent shimmer that catches the light beautifully. To get this elegant effect for my snowflake look, I started with a base of creamy, iridescent white eyeshadow all over the lid. The key here is finding one with a really fine pearl finish.
