Running vlog 🏃🏽‍♀️💜

Today was such a special day.

I participated in my very first event with the @Atlanta Run Club (ARC) , and it was everything I hoped it would be 🥹✨

Not only did I hit my goal time, but I got to see so many amazing friends that I’ve met through running.

A couple years ago, I never would’ve imagined myself running races, meeting running friends, and showing up to events like this.

But here I am 💜

As always, thank you God for carrying me through another run.

Shoutout to everyone I got to see today. It was so good seeing y’all, and I can’t wait for the next race 🏃🏽‍♀️✨

... Read moreParticipating in my first official running event was a truly memorable experience that pushed me beyond what I thought was possible. Before joining the Atlanta Run Club, running was more of a personal challenge, something I did alone to stay fit and clear my mind. But this event changed everything. There’s something incredibly motivating about running alongside others who share the same passion — it creates an energy that keeps you going even when your legs feel heavy. Achieving my goal time during the race was empowering, but what stood out even more was the supportive atmosphere. Seeing familiar faces and new friends cheering each other on made the experience not just about competition, but about community. I realized how important these connections are in maintaining motivation and making running enjoyable. Reflecting back, I never imagined myself as a race participant or someone who would find a supportive circle through running. Yet here I am, excited and already looking forward to the next event with ARC. For anyone thinking of starting this journey, I encourage you to take that first step — it might just lead to new friendships, personal achievements, and a fulfilling hobby. And yes, gratitude played a big part in my mindset during the run. Thanking God for strength and endurance gave me peace and confidence throughout the race. In the end, it’s not just about the finish line, but the growth and joy found along the way. If you're considering joining a running club or participating in your first race, I recommend setting achievable goals, surrounding yourself with positive influences, and appreciating the process. Running isn’t only about speed or distance; it’s about resilience, connection, and celebrating every milestone — even a single mile can be a victory worth savoring.
