Today’s run looked a little different. 🏃🏾♀️💗
I tested out the @joinkyde ning app after they reached out and invited me to give it a try.
As a newer runner, having a coach in my ear reminding me about my breathing, heart rate, pace, and encouraging me throughout the run was such a cool experience.
This wasn’t a PR run.
This wasn’t a speed workout.
Just an easy 2 miles with my son while trying something new.
Overall… I’d definitely keep using it as part of my training. 💗

As someone who has recently taken up running, finding tools that not only track your progress but also actively guide you during your runs can be a game changer. The Kyde app caught my attention because it offers real-time coaching, which isn’t common in many running apps. From my experience using Kyde on a casual 2-mile run, having a coach's voice in my ear helped me focus on my breathing and maintain a consistent pace without the pressure of a performance goal. What I appreciated most was the encouragement during moments when I felt like slowing down or losing motivation. The app also kept me aware of my heart rate, which is essential for understanding effort levels and avoiding overexertion – especially important for newer runners. With an average heart rate of 149 bpm during my run, the app’s feedback helped me regulate my effort to stay comfortable. The pace of about 14:46 per mile felt just right for an easy run, particularly since I was running with my son and wanted to keep the experience enjoyable rather than pushing for speed. Using the Nike Vomero Plus shoes further added comfort, complementing the positive overall experience. For anyone starting their running journey or looking for a supportive tool to enhance their training, I would recommend trying the Kyde app. It’s like having a personal coach available anytime, providing not only data but also motivation and practical advice to help you build endurance and confidence step by step. If you are exploring running apps, pay attention to those integrating real-time coaching and heart rate monitoring like Kyde. These features can turn a simple run into a more interactive and rewarding experience, make running less intimidating, and encourage consistency in your training routine.
