Reading consistently throughout the year has been a rewarding personal goal, and one that’s helped me expand my perspective and imagination. My journey began with a mix of nonfiction and fiction, including Emily Nagoski’s insightful "Come as You Are," which delves deeply into the science of female sexuality and has been praised for its empowering and educational approach. This book not only changed how I view relationships but also sparked many thoughtful conversations. Another highlight was Sally Rooney’s "Normal People," a New York Times bestseller that explores complex human emotions and relationships with a raw intensity. Reading it felt like stepping inside the lives of the characters, which made me eager to see how their stories evolved. Alongside these, I've been inspired by historical narratives such as "Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert," which bring powerful figures and moments to life. One tip I’ve found helpful is setting a manageable monthly reading goal to maintain motivation without pressure. Creating a dedicated reading space and sharing thoughts in forums or with friends can enrich the experience.
