Swipe to see all the bird paintings that are completely sold out.
While taking inventory before my next show in Lake Forest, IL I was shocked to see how many of my pieces have completely sold out. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the amount of bird art I have when you’re painting every bird in North America. So far I’ve painted nearly 300 birds and have just under 2,000 left to paint.
Do we need a post about birds that are nearly sold out? If we haven’t met, my name is Hannah and I’m painting every bird in North America. This process starts with original, traditional, transparent watercolor paintings of the birds that are painted to scale. From there I offer an exceptionally limited run of only 10, archival quality, fine art prints ever. Each print is printed by me in my Ohio studio. Printed on cold press watercolor paper, with pigment based inks so they will last generations. Finally each print is hand embellished, signed and numbered by me before they’re packed in compostable packaging and sent to their forever homes.

Each fine art print is produced in a small, exclusive edition of only 10, ensuring rarity and collectibility. Printed with pigment-based inks, these prints offer archival quality that promises longevity for generations. Additionally, the prints are hand embellished, individually signed, and numbered by the artist, adding an authentic personal touch to each piece. The artist's commitment extends beyond art quality to environmental responsibility—packaging is compostable, reflecting sustainable practices. Collectors and bird enthusiasts appreciate not only the visual appeal but also the educational value. Species like the Northern Cardinal and other North American birds appear in this ever-growing collection, captivating audiences with detailed representation. Limited availability due to the small print runs has caused many pieces to sell out quickly, emphasizing the desirability of this collection among art lovers and bird watchers alike. For those interested in avian art, watercolor techniques, or sustainable collecting, this project represents a remarkable intersection of art, nature, and conservation awareness.
