Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Spicy Cajun Alfredo Twisted Pasta
Ingredients:
1½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
3 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
For the pasta:
12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp butter
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil. Cook the twisted pasta until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2. While the pasta cooks, pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season evenly with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in a single layer and let them sear undisturbed until a deep golden crust forms. Turn and continue cooking until browned on all sides. Transfer the steak to a plate and set aside.
4. Reduce the heat slightly and add the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and cook for a few minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened.
6. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce becomes thick, smooth, and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a small splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss until fully coated in the spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce.
8. Return the steak bites to the pan and stir gently to combine. Let everything warm through for 1 to 2 minutes.
9. Finish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if you like extra heat. Serve warm while the sauce is rich and creamy.

Making Garlic Butter Steak Bites paired with Spicy Cajun Alfredo Twisted Pasta at home has been one of my favorite go-to recipes for an impressive yet simple dinner. The secret to achieving that perfect sear on the steak bites is to pat the meat dry thoroughly before seasoning and cooking. I always find that letting the steak cubes rest undisturbed in a hot pan creates a beautiful crust, locking in the juices for each bite. For the Cajun Alfredo sauce, balancing the creaminess of the heavy cream and Parmesan with the bold spices like smoked paprika and Cajun seasoning is key. I sometimes adjust the level of red pepper flakes depending on how spicy I want the dish. Adding a little reserved pasta water helps maintain a smooth and silky sauce consistency, which coats the twisted pasta perfectly. One thing I learned is that using twisted pasta such as rotini or fusilli is ideal because their grooves really hold the sauce well, enhancing every mouthful. Fresh parsley garnish adds a pop of color and a hint of freshness that brightens up the rich flavors. This recipe is also quite versatile; I sometimes swap sirloin for ribeye for an even more tender steak bite. You can easily tweak the seasoning blend to match your spice preference. Overall, this dish nails the comforting feel of a creamy Alfredo with an exciting Cajun twist — perfect for those who enjoy bold flavors combined with classic comfort food. I highly recommend trying this recipe if you want to surprise your family or guests with a restaurant-quality meal that’s absolutely delicious but easy to prepare at home. The combination of garlic butter steak and spicy Cajun Alfredo pasta is sure to satisfy cravings and impress at the dinner table.
