Focus on Jesus!!!

It's so easy to get caught up in life's storms, isn't it? Whether it's anxiety, past pain, or daily struggle, our minds can quickly become overwhelmed. Through my own journey, I've learned a profound truth: we need to focus on Jesus, not the storm. It’s a conscious choice, a deliberate shift that brings peace. When worry drowns me, fixing my eyes on Him brings immediate calm and helps me find my footing. One comforting realization has been understanding what it means to say, 'Because of Jesus, I am.' It’s not just a phrase; it’s an identity. Because of Him, I am deeply loved, completely whole, and a cherished child of God. This truth has shifted my self-worth and purpose. No matter my mistakes, that foundational love never changes. This understanding empowers me to navigate challenges with strength, knowing I'm never truly alone or without worth. Life often throws curveballs, making us uncomfortable. I’ve started to see that when God wants you to move, He makes you uncomfortable. It's His gentle nudge, preparing us for something greater. Embracing 'His will, His way, my faith' has become my mantra. It’s about letting go of my own plans and trusting His path is for my ultimate good. This patience often leads to incredible breakthroughs. And speaking of breakthroughs, I've witnessed that God will always provide, though it might look different than expected. I remember a time with significant financial worry. I prayed for a specific solution, but an unexpected opportunity arose that met my need and opened new doors. It taught me to be open to how God chooses to work, not just my preferred method. His provision is boundless, even if disguised. To truly keep focus on Jesus, it's essential to immerse ourselves in God's word. It's like the tea bag analogy: 'The longer the tea bag sits in the cup, the stronger the tea. The longer you sit in God's word, the stronger your faith.' The more I read, meditate, and pray over scripture, the more resilient my faith becomes. It’s my daily fuel, helping me combat doubt and fear, reinforcing trust in His plan. When facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles, I find immense encouragement in biblical heroes. If the sea couldn't stop Moses, if a wall couldn't stop Joshua, if a giant couldn't stop David, and if death couldn't stop Jesus, then what truly can stop me when I walk in His name? These stories are powerful reminders that with God, nothing is impossible. We are equipped with divine strength to overcome whatever comes our way. And when all else fails, and I feel myself starting to give up, I turn to that simple, heartfelt prayer: 'Dear God: If I start to give up, keep me going. please give me your strength in my weakness.' It's a humbling acknowledgment that my own strength is limited, but His is infinite. Leaning into His strength is not a sign of weakness, but profound wisdom. So, let’s choose today to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, knowing that in Him, we have everything we need to not just survive, but to thrive, no matter the storm.
