🍷✨ PERFUME REVIEW: Michael Malul Sangria + Saffron ✨🍓
Dare I say… out of my entire Michael Malul collection, this might be the one 🫣🤫
This is a floramand done RIGHT.
The opening is bright, juicy, and instantly addictive . Immediately you get that fruity burst of berries and crisp freshness right off the top. But as it settles, the saffron, and warm suede come through and turns it into something that smells sweet and sophisticated.

The initial burst of sparkling orange and green apple is refreshing and energizing, making it a great choice for spring and summer outings. What truly sets this fragrance apart is the infusion of saffron, which adds a luxurious, slightly spicy warmth that enhances the floral bouquet without overpowering it.
The mid notes of raspberry nectar and Damask rose impart a sweet yet elegant softness, balanced by subtle lily of the valley and jasmine petals that lift the scent with a delicate floral airiness. As the fragrance dries down, the suede and ambergris base create a cozy, sensual finish that lingers pleasantly, offering a sophisticated edge to an otherwise bright and juicy scent.
I found this perfume versatile enough for various occasions—from rooftop dinners at sunset to casual brunches with friends. It carries an aura of soft luxury and confident femininity, making it a conversation starter. Many people have complimented or inquired about what I was wearing when I wore Sangria + Saffron.
Besides the fragrance profile, I appreciate Michael Malul's commitment to quality ingredients and plastic-free packaging, which resonates with environmentally conscious consumers. The eau de parfum concentration ensures good longevity and moderate sillage, allowing for a lasting yet not overwhelming presence.
If you're a fan of fruity yet refined floramands with a touch of spiced sophistication, Sangria + Saffron is definitely worth trying. It showcases Michael Malul’s craftsmanship and unique approach to scent layering, making it a standout in my perfume collection.
I have all of the female leaning Michael Malul, including the discontinued ones that I know about. They've released collabs with the Marley's and Quicksilver. There's 1 new one that I need to get. They're all very good. Something for everyone
Now you know this one is my favorite 😍
