I’ve tried this recipe multiple times, and one of the things I love is how easy it is to customize the flavors to my liking. For instance, choosing a good quality roast beef is key—it really makes the sandwich stand out. I prefer to slightly warm the roast beef on the stovetop in a skillet for better control over the heat and texture compared to the microwave. When it comes to the Queso Blanco, warming it gradually ensures it stays smooth and creamy without getting too hot or watery. I've even added a pinch of chili flakes or some diced jalapeños to the queso for a little kick, which works great if you enjoy a bit of spice. Pairing the sandwich with Arby's frozen fries is a convenient side, and baking them at the recommended 425°F ensures a crispy finish that complements the sandwich perfectly. For the bun, to elevate the homemade experience, I like to lightly toast it with some butter or olive oil to add a bit of crunch and richness. Adding extra toppings like lettuce, tomato, or pickles can also enhance the flavor profile if you want a bit more texture and freshness. Overall, replicating fast food at home not only saves money but also lets you control ingredients, making it a healthier and personalized meal. Plus, it’s a great way to gather friends or family for a casual and delicious dinner without the hassle of going out. Give it a try—you might be surprised how close you can get to the original Arby’s taste right in your own kitchen!
