Trying Things From SHEIN So You Don’t Have To

🛍Brand: SlowSunday Green Tea Mask Stick

💰Price: $3.99

👍Pros:

• Small and Compact

• Blurring Effect

• Face feels smooth after

🤔Cons:

•Kinda Patchy

•A little rough on application

•Have to scrub off

📒Notes: Not the best face mask I’ve ever tried, but for the price I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve used it about 4 times now and can definitely tell a difference in my skin so far. I had to scrub my face with cleanser and washcloth to get it off which I didn’t care for, but overall not bad! Dries very smooth. I’ve worn it from 15 min-2 hours but you could prob sleep in it TBH.

⭐️Overall rating: 4/5

... Read moreAs someone who's always on the hunt for budget-friendly skincare, the sheer volume of options on SHEIN can be both exciting and overwhelming. You see all these products, and you can't help but wonder, "Are they any good?" or "Es de SHEIN, but is it worth it?" That's exactly how I felt when I stumbled upon the SlowSunday Green Tea Mask Stick. At only $3.99, it felt like a low-risk experiment, and I was genuinely curious if this could be one of those tremendous SHEIN finds everyone talks about. My first impression of the green facial mask stick was its compact size – super handy for travel! Application was a bit rough initially, as the original review mentioned. I found that twisting up just a small amount, warming it slightly against my skin first, or even applying it over a slightly damp face helped it glide on much smoother, preventing that patchy feeling. Once on, it has a pleasant, mild scent and dries down pretty quickly. Now, for the results – this is where I was pleasantly surprised. After about four uses, I started to notice a real difference. My skin genuinely felt smoother, and there was a subtle blurring effect, especially around my nose. I've often seen "Before" and "After" shots online with skincare, and while this wasn't a miracle worker, I definitely saw an improvement in my skin texture. For a product from SHEIN at this price point, that's pretty impressive! It really makes you rethink what's possible with affordable beauty. One of the main cons highlighted was the removal process, and I totally agree – scrubbing it off wasn't fun. However, I discovered a little trick that made it much easier. Instead of just rinsing with water or going straight for a harsh scrub, I'd first press a warm, damp washcloth onto my face for about 30 seconds. This helps to rehydrate and loosen the dried mask. Then, with gentle circular motions, it comes off so much more easily with a mild cleanser. I've even used an oil cleanser or a cleansing balm, and it melts away beautifully without any harsh scrubbing. This simple step transformed my experience and made the mask much more enjoyable to use. Overall, for just under $4, this SlowSunday Green Tea Mask Stick has earned its 4/5 rating in my book. It's a fantastic option if you're looking for an affordable way to incorporate a deep-cleansing mask into your routine and want to see some skin texture improvement. While it might not replace my high-end favorites, for the price and the visible results – smoother skin and that lovely blurring effect – it truly is a tremendous SHEIN skincare discovery. If you're on the fence about trying SHEIN skincare, this is a great product to start with!
