1. The past is unsolvable. The future is yet to come.

We humans are creatures that like to torture themselves with 2 periods of time that do not exist:

Past: What has passed is like a shadow. We cannot walk back to correct any words, mistakes, or past. So there is regret and distress.

The future: is something that has yet to come; just "imagination" or expectation; worrying too much about the future is like being afraid of a ghost that has not yet appeared.

The truth is: We can be happy, successful, or sober...It must only be done at this second. No one can be happy ahead of tomorrow. And no one can go back and fix yesterday's suffering now.

2. The present is the "determiner" of the future.

We often worry about what the future holds, whether work is smooth, whether life is stable, but we forget that the future is the result of the so-called "present."

If today is sitting in a courtyard sewing (mind drifting to the future), the cloth is torn or crooked (future results are bad).

But if we are now fully attentive, dedicated, and conscious of what we do in front of us, the future outcome will take care of itself without us having to worry about it at all.

3. It is the only address of "consciousness" and "peace."

A person's mind is like a monkey, and he likes to jump back and forth if he goes back...It often brings depression or anger if you jump to the future...Usually brings stress and anxiety.

Only the "present moment" is a space where the mind can be calm and wise. Returning to the breath, being with the work done, being with the person in front of it, is the best way to cut the distraction cycle.

In English, the word "Present" is synonymous and synonymous with "Gift." > It's a great reminder that our breath and presence is the most precious gift. Most of the time we suffer today, not because the things in front of us are bad, but because our hearts are not here.
