This post is mainly #satire but just thought I should post it to create awareness about the off-road community, on Lemon8. I’m going to focus on posting outdoors and adventuring tips for Lemon8. You might want to follow if this is something you’re interested in 🙌
To my friends on here who love to go #outdoors and get lost in the wilderness; get out there!! Just be sure to stay prepared :)
how can you stay prepared?
Well, here’s a short list to get you prepared:
- air down to around 15 psi. depending on the terrain, you might need to go lower
- bring plenty of snacks and water, you don’t know how long you might be out there
- bring recovery gear. Recovery straps, kinetic rope, a friend with a winch, etc
- maps, it’s important to know where you are, relative to the entrance / exit
- have an expert inspect the car before going out on the trails, think preventative maintenance
- ALWAYS have an emergency kit in the car. Vital essentials would include a first aid kit, bear spray, a gun, emergency flare and emergency food rations. Doesn’t matter if you’re going for the day, be sure to take that emergency kit with you.

Don’t forget tools and a first-aid kit, as these essentials can address minor emergencies. Additionally, familiarize yourself with maps of the area you plan to explore, ensuring you can navigate effectively. Having an emergency kit with flares, food rations, and other essentials can make a huge difference should anything go wrong. Always inform someone about your travel plans. This way, if things get tricky, help can be sent your way. Finally, consider connecting with online communities or social media groups that share your passion for off-roading. These platforms provide invaluable advice, recent trail conditions, or upcoming group adventures, enhancing your off-road experience. Remember, every adventurous journey begins with meticulous preparation!
