Pole Starter - 01

First Lesson with Mauve Studio

For context, I don't have prior dance or pole experience, and started off with the pole starters class. I went in without much expectations and was pleasantly surprised to be able to pull off the tricks.

It can be quite tedious if you're not used to gripping with your hands and shoulders. Mauve does offer trial lesson to get a feel of the vibe of the studio, class and instructor before making the big commitment to sign on their full term classes which consist of 8 lessons.

During the session, you will go through a warm up and taught how to grip the pole safely without potentially injuring yourself. Towards the end, you'll get to combine the tricks taught with some choreography. While pulling off the moves, of course my lines aren't as clean as the instructor and combining it with the choreography kind of messes up the flow.

Hopefully it'll improve by the 8th lesson.
