I'm raising a Muffin child

Everyone else is out here raising a Bluey or a sweet little Bingo,

And I’m over here raising a full-time Muffin — loud, chaotic, emotionally intense, zero fear, zero chill.

Even though, I think she's a mix between her and Bingo.

She wakes up choosing chaos, negotiates like a tiny lawyer, feels everything at max volume, and somehow runs the house before breakfast. And yet… she’s hilarious, passionate, fiercely loving, and absolutely unforgettable.

Muffin kids will test every ounce of your patience, but they also have the biggest personalities and the boldest hearts. We’re not raising “easy” kids — we’re raising strong ones.

So here’s to the Muffin moms… tired, humbled, and deeply entertained every single day 😭💀🤍

... Read moreRaising a Muffin child means embracing a whirlwind of emotions, energy, and constant surprises. From my own experience, these children are far from typical—they wake up ready to shake up the world and demand your full attention. Unlike the calm and sweet nature of children like Bluey or Bingo, Muffin kids come with a boldness that's both exhausting and inspiring. One thing I’ve noticed is that Muffin children have an extraordinary ability to communicate their feelings, often at volume levels that can test the limits of any parent’s patience. They negotiate every request with the precision of a tiny lawyer, which can be both amusing and challenging. But it’s this intensity that fuels their passion and creativity, making them deeply loving and fiercely loyal. Embracing a Muffin child requires a mindset shift. It’s not about trying to mute their energy but rather channeling it constructively. Activities that combine physical movement and creative expression—like dance, art, or role-playing—often help balance their emotional highs and give them healthy outlets. Another important aspect is patience and consistency. Muffin kids thrive with structure, even if they seem to resist it initially. Setting clear boundaries with empathy helps them understand expectations while still feeling free to express their unique personalities. It’s also vital to acknowledge the emotional toll on caregivers. Muffin moms and dads need moments to recharge, whether through support groups, mindfulness practices, or simply a quiet cup of tea. Sharing experiences with others raising similarly spirited children can provide comfort and practical advice. Ultimately, raising a Muffin child means celebrating their individuality and strength. These children shape a household with their loud laughter, intense emotions, and unmatched courage. While the journey is anything but easy, the reward is a deeply meaningful connection and an unforgettable childhood filled with love and resilience.
