Bare😬 to Beautiful🤩 Let’s Decorate My Tree🎄✨
Are you ready for the upcoming holidays? We’re slowly but surely getting there! 🥰 A month ago, my tree was looking a little… rinkydink😰. But now? It’s giving “house full of holiday cheer!”❄️😆. Since me and my partner will be hosting Christmas this year, we have to try to make it a success🙌🏾.
Here’s the glow-up: I snagged this 6ft pre-flocked tree for just $19.99 (yes, really!), along with the ornaments and outside decor from Maxway/Roses. My mom was so impatient/excited that we didn’t even get the chance to take “before” pics prior to her putting the decorations on 🤣🤦🏾♀️. At the time, instead of string lights (which I’ve avoided since they’ve always strained my eyes and gave me headaches), I found the cutest LED alternatives that add just the right touch of sparkle! Pro of this is not having to deal with the hassle of chords getting tangled up 🙌🏾. But, today I bought a small pack of the colorful ones to give the tree more personality, I’ll just divert my eyes when they’re turned on 😂. With that in mind, never let anyone dim your light! 💅🏾 ✨. Anyway, we’ll be putting these up sometime this week☺️.
We’re still debating how much decorating to do outside the house because we’re under an HOA, and HOA rules can be a little tricky (anyone else have this struggle?). I did spot the cutest Lilo & Stitch Christmas decorations as soon as I stepped into Walmart marked at $45, and now I can’t stop thinking about them! So hopefully we’re able to get them 😭.
How do you celebrate this time of year—whether it be for religious or personal reasons, or just for fun? My partner is Muslim, so we’ll be incorporating his faith into the festivities ☺️ Wait until I get into the gifts I got him that reaffirm his faith 🥰😁.
