✨💔 My Love Life Was A MESS In College😭✨
💌 “You’ll have a great love life in college,” they said. Spoiler alert: they lied. 😂
Flashback to my college days—a complete dating sh!tshow. Between guys saying they were interested but “not ready for a relationship” 🥴 to “situationships” like cuddle buddies and you know what buddies, my love life was a chaotic mix of confusion and wasted time. Sound familiar?
Here’s the kicker: my first real boyfriend—now fiancé—didn’t come into my life until years after college. And funny enough, we went to the SAME university and didn’t even meet until long after he graduated( about 2018 or 2019) and two years after I did (2022). So dang, 5+ years of nonsense to finally meet someone in mid 2024 worth giving my life to😭. Life is wild like that!
💡 Dating Advice & College Tips:
1️⃣ Don’t force it. If someone says they’re not ready for a relationship, believe them and move on. Save yourself the headache.
2️⃣ Know your worth. Don’t settle for crumbs when you deserve the whole bakery.
3️⃣ Stay focused. Your degree is forever; situationships are not. Balance schoolwork with your social life, and don’t let dating derail your goals.
4️⃣ Set boundaries. Be clear about what you’re looking for—whether it’s a casual fling or something serious.
✨ The most important thing? Love yourself first. The right person will come at the right time, and they’ll add to your life, not complicate it.
💬 Now, your turn:

Personally for me I’ve had a boyfriend all the way through. We met in high school but didn’t start dating to May senior year. We were in different colleges the first year then he transferred to mine because he simply didn’t like his school for many reasons. But I think otherwise it should be what you feel is right
