The 4Fs I’m Working On āœØšŸ’•

I didn’t come up with this list, but wow, it called me out and reminded me what I need to recenter my focus on.

Lately, I’ve been trying to keep things simple and build a life that actually feels good — not just looks good on paper. And these 4 F’s: Faith, Fitness, Family, and Finance hit the nail on the head.

✨ Faith: I’ve been working on grounding myself, trusting the process, and not spiraling when things feel uncertain.

šŸ’Ŗ Fitness: Trying to move my body more consistently, drink my water, and sleep like I deserve to rest (still a work in progress).

šŸ‘Øā€šŸ‘©ā€šŸ‘§ Family: Being more present, texting back, carving out time even when I’m ā€œtoo busy.ā€

šŸ’° Finance: Staying consistent with my budget, tracking my habits, and giving myself grace while still building discipline.

Honestly, life feels more peaceful when I focus on these 4 pillars. Not perfectly, but intentionally.

šŸ“Œ Saving this for when I feel unmotivated or overwhelmed — because structure doesn’t kill freedom, it creates it.

🫶 Which of the 4F’s do you need to pour more into right now?

... Read moreIt's amazing how focusing on these 4 F's can really shift your perspective and bring so much peace. I wholeheartedly believe that structure doesn't kill freedom; it actually creates it! If you're like me, sometimes you need a little more than just 'focus' to keep these pillars strong. Here's how I'm trying to dive deeper into each one, hoping it helps you too! Faith: For me, this isn't just about religion, but about grounding myself and finding inner peace. When things feel uncertain, it's easy to spiral. I've found that starting my day with just 5-10 minutes of gratitude journaling or a simple meditation session makes a huge difference. Just listing three things I'm thankful for, no matter how small, can reset my mindset. It's about building that consistent practice of trusting the process and believing that things will unfold as they should, even when I don't see the full picture yet. It really helps me stay calm and centered, especially on those days when everything feels overwhelming. Fitness: This one has been a journey, but so rewarding! Moving my body consistently doesn't mean hitting the gym for hours every day. Sometimes it's a brisk walk around the block, a quick yoga flow, or even just dancing in my living room. The key for me has been consistency over intensity. And hydration? Seriously, carrying a water bottle everywhere has become second nature. It's not just for my physical health, but my mental clarity too. But the biggest game-changer? Sleep. I used to burn the candle at both ends, thinking I was being productive. Now, I prioritize getting 7-8 hours. It means setting boundaries with evening activities and creating a relaxing bedtime routine, but the energy and focus I gain the next day are priceless. I'm still a work in progress, but feeling so much better! Family: In our busy lives, it's easy for family connections to take a backseat. I've realized that being truly present is more about quality than quantity. Instead of just scrolling on my phone when I'm with loved ones, I put it away. Asking open-ended questions and truly listening has strengthened our communication. And carving out dedicated quality time, even if it’s just a weekly phone call with a sibling or a dinner date with my parents, makes a world of difference. It's about showing up for them, just as I want them to show up for me. Those moments of connection are what truly enrich my life. Finance: Wow, this one can feel daunting, but it's essential for peace of mind. My biggest breakthrough has been creating a realistic budget and actually sticking to it. It’s not about restriction, but about understanding where my money goes and making conscious choices. I started tracking my goals and expenses diligently, which helped me identify areas where I could save. It's also about giving myself grace; if I overspend one month, I don't derail the whole plan. I adjust and restart. Building a small emergency fund has been incredibly liberating, knowing I have a buffer for unexpected costs. It's a continuous learning process, but feeling more in control of my financial future brings such a sense of security.
