Our favorite art supplies!
I wanted to share some of our favorite art supplies that we use year round! All are affordable and worth buying over and over again! We’re a big craft family, crafts for birthdays, and every holiday so I wanted to share my recommendations on what supplies are worth buying!!
🎨 IKEA art easel 19.00$: One side of the art easel is a dry erase board while the other is a chalk board. It comes with a pole to hold a roll of paper (sold separately) and a little shelf on each side to hold supplies. I love this, it’s easy to clean, folds for easy storage, and is very durable for the price!
🎨Crayola project paint 5-6$: This is my favorite craft paint for my kids! It’s easy to wash and nontoxic. Comes out of clothes and other fabrics easily.
🎨Crayola click markers 11-12$: I love these markers for myself and my older toddler. My 17 month old hasn’t figured out how to click these yet so it’s nice for my older son to have something just for him to use and color with. I recommend these for adults too. They’re easy to clean off, and of course nontoxic.
🎨Fabric canvas price ranges: I love letting my kids create on fabric canvas. They can be very inexpensive especially if you have coupons for the certain crafts stores! I love watching my kids have the freedom to create something we can hang in their room. The canvas is a great alternative to paper since it won’t bleed through, the paint won’t change colors, the canvas wont become too saturated the way paper does, etc.
🎨Crayola color wonders price varies depending: I love these markers especially for my 17 month old. They’re made to only work on Color Wonder paper so he’s able to color freely without me hovering over him to make sure he isn’t coloring where he isn’t supposed to. Color Wonders has packs of every thing a child could love, Disney, vehicles, animals, etc. These are great to travel with too either in the car or out to restaurants because again, you don’t have to worry about the kids coloring on things that shouldn’t be colored on!
🎨Paint dotters 8.99$: My boys recently started using paint dotters and they took to them so quickly. The first day we had them they played for probably 45 minutes or so. These little dotters are great on paper and canvas, but there are also paint dotter print outs you can google as well! These are a bit harder to wash off of hands and skin, hard surfaces are fine, but I would be cautious with clothes and other fabrics for sure. These are amazing!
