my favorite journal pages i've done so far
bullet/ junk journal ideas 💡
I read somewhere to just make a journal and fill it with everything and anything you can think of. Sometimes I just write a journal entry, other times I'm just doodling, most times I'm adding stickers.
Don't think about it too much, just make it yours.

Have you ever stared at a blank journal page, wondering where to even begin? I know I have! Sometimes the sheer freedom of a bullet or junk journal can feel overwhelming. But that's the beauty of it – there are no rules. My journey has taught me that the best pages are the ones that simply reflect *you*. One of my favorite ways to get started is by picking a theme. For instance, I created a 'golden bday' spread, celebrating my birthday with fun party dog stickers and loving handwritten notes from loved ones. Or for September, I went with a whimsical jellyfish and other marine creature stickers theme for my monthly cover – it even included a small calendar and notes section. These themes make it so much easier to fill the page and create a cohesive, aesthetic look! Your journal is also a safe space for your thoughts. I often use mine for 'just venting,' writing about emotions and celebrating women's strength, sometimes with a beautiful floral bear cutout or an illustration of a woman. It’s incredibly therapeutic. You can even write a 'Letter to the Moon:' if you want to express feelings in a creative way – adding a small white envelope with a blue wax stamp or vintage-style stickers makes it extra special and adds to the junk journal aesthetic. Don't forget the practical side! My January 2024 spread, for example, was all about a weekly to-do list for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I track job applications and FAFSA, but I make it pretty with a colorful butterfly sticker or a ballerina sticker. Even mundane tasks can look charming when you doodle faces, butterflies, or abstract figures around them. These personal reflections on daily life make your journal truly unique. If words aren't flowing, just doodle or make a sticker collage! Remember that page completely covered with a shark, eye, rainbow, food items, and various characters? It’s pure joy! Or that 'I-T G-I-R-L' page with a Frida Kahlo-inspired woman, a woman with an umbrella, and floral designs? Stickers are such an easy way to add instant aesthetic appeal and tell a story without writing a single word. Even simple hand-drawn sketches can transform a page. I love adding decorative paper cutouts and other collaged paper elements; these could be anything from old book pages, magazine cutouts, or even just colored paper. They add texture and depth, turning your journal into a true junk journal masterpiece. Ultimately, your journal is a living, breathing document of your life and creativity. Don't worry about perfection. Just grab some colorful stickers, a pen, and start exploring. Whether it's a simple calendar layout, personal reflections, or a vibrant sticker collage, every page holds a piece of your unique story. What 'things do you love' to put on your journal pages?

Thank you. Can memories be erased?
