Day in the life of a college student

Starting a new semester always feels like a fresh start, doesn't it? As a college student, every day brings a mix of academic challenges and fun campus experiences. I wanted to share a deeper dive into what a typical day looks like for me, especially during the exciting first week! My mornings usually kick off with a quick review of my notes, often with a hot coffee by my side. My trusty notebook and favorite pens are always ready for action. This semester, I'm diving into some fascinating subjects, including Math and Art History. It's a juggle to switch gears between numbers and historical movements, but I find it keeps my brain active! After a couple of engaging lectures, sometimes I'll grab lunch at the dining hall. It’s always a lively spot, and occasionally they even have a live band playing, which makes for a super fun break. Afternoons are usually dedicated to more classes or hitting the library. Today's final class was Typography, which I'm really enjoying. Staying organized is key, so I constantly refer to my syllabus for academic policies and assignment due dates. Once classes wrap up, it’s time for homework. I usually find a cozy spot, open up my laptop, and get to work on assignments, often with a bowl of snacks nearby to keep my energy up. Balancing coursework with personal time is a skill you definitely develop in college! As evening approaches, I love to unwind. Right now, I’m totally engrossed in "It Ends With Us" by Colleen Hoover on my Kindle. It's the perfect way to decompress after a long day of studying. Dinner is often a simple affair, sometimes a takeout container while I catch up on some recorded shows on a streaming service. Before bed, I try to spend a few minutes journaling in my floral-patterned journal, reflecting on the day and setting intentions for tomorrow. It helps me stay grounded amidst the busy student life. It's all about finding that balance between hitting the books, making time for friends, and squeezing in some much-needed self-care. College life is a journey, and every day is an adventure!
