Each has a large public bath,
You can take a family bath on a first-come, first-served basis.
The family bath is a large bath used for men's baths in the past, and there are an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, and it is a 50-minute system per family.
Check-in is from 15 o'clock, we arrived at the hotel a little after 15 o'clock, already 3 or 4 groups were buried.
There is also an indoor bath and an outdoor bath in the public bath,
It was a rock bath of an indoor bath and an outdoor bath like expanding the scale of a family bath.

私が行く前にいちばん気になったのが「菊池観光ホテルの口コミって実際どう？」「ウェルカムドリンクは何がある？」「温泉の評判は本当？」の3つでした。結論、温泉目的で選ぶならかなり満足度高めだと思います。 まず温泉（菊池温泉）。大浴場は内湯と露天があって、露天は岩風呂っぽい雰囲気。入った瞬間に肌ざわりが変わる感じがあって、“温泉に入った！”という充足感が強めでした。私は乾燥しやすいタイプなんですが、上がったあともしっとり感が残りやすくて、翌朝ももう一回入りたくなりました。 家族風呂（貸切）は先着順なので、ここは予定を組むときの注意ポイント。チェックイン開始の15時すぐを狙う人が多い印象で、私も少し過ぎに到着したらすでに埋まり始めていました。内湯＋露天のセットで50分制。露天は自然が近くて開放感があり、家族や子連れだと周りを気にせず入りやすいのが良かったです。狙うなら、到着したら先にフロントで空き状況を確認→時間を押さえるのがおすすめ。 ウェルカムドリンクは口コミ通り充実していて、15時〜18時の間はロビーのコーナーで自由に楽しめました。コーヒー、ソフトドリンク、お水に加えてビールが2種類あるのが地味に嬉しいところ。お菓子（ばかうけ、おにぎり煎餅、ルマンド、チョコなど）もあって、到着後のひと息タイムにちょうど良かったです。さらに卵・牛乳不使用の手作りプリンが冷蔵庫に用意されていて、アレルギーが気になる人や子ども連れだと安心材料になると思います。 客室は和室・洋室どちらもあって、写真で見た通りシンプルで落ち着く感じ。お部屋に熊本天然水のペットボトルが人数分置いてあったのも助かりました。温泉に入ると喉が渇くので、地味にありがたい。 食事（バイキング）や夕食内容はプランで印象が変わるので、予約時は「食事付きか」「バイキングか」「時間帯」を要チェック。私は次は食事内容も含めて比較して、温泉＋ウェルカムサービスをしっかり満喫する目的でまた行きたいと思っています。
