Okay, this week made absolutely no sense on paper😂
I ate cake, chips, pancakes, lattes, I modified multiple workouts, I only lifted once, and basically did a whole bunch of things I wasn’t “supposed” to do during a fat loss phase.
AND THEN, at the end of the week I realized I LOST 6lbs. In less than seven days.
I break it all down in episode 05 of the vlog! I take you through the actual week as it happened and break down why my progress didn’t fall apart just because my routine changed, and what was ACTUALLY happening behind that number on the scale.
So please don’t get it twisted, watch the episode before your mind spirals into asking how you can recreate and repeat these results.😉
Because the takeaway is definitely not “eat cake and lose 6 pounds.” This is simply what happened in my body, in this particular week, with the foundation I’ve already built.
Episode 05 of Vol.41 is live now on YouTube.💛

During my unusual week of eating cake, chips, pancakes, and enjoying lattes while barely lifting weights, I was genuinely surprised to see a 6-pound drop on the scale. From my experience, this unexpected weight loss wasn’t magic or a simple result of indulging in calorie-dense foods. One important factor is the foundation I’ve built over time — consistent workouts, mindful eating habits, and understanding how my body responds to different stimuli. Even though I reduced my lifting sessions and modified workouts, my body was still in a healthy state of fat loss because of prior effort and metabolic adaptation. I also learned that weight fluctuations can sometimes reflect water retention changes and other metabolic processes rather than pure fat loss. It’s common, especially in fat loss phases, for the body to respond variably based on stress, diet changes, and hormonal shifts, such as those experienced during menopause, which many can relate to. This experience taught me the importance of not obsessing over every meal or workout but seeing the bigger picture of consistent, sustainable effort. Enjoying treats occasionally and allowing flexibility in fitness routines can keep motivation high without derailing long-term goals. If you face plateaus or unexpected results, consider assessing your entire fitness foundation, including nutrition quality, sleep, and stress management, rather than only focusing on immediate outcomes. Your journey will have ups and downs, but consistency and patience are key to meaningful, lasting transformation.
