5 study tips you may not know🤧🫶

7/27 Edited to

... Read moreHaving used various study methods over my college journey, I've found a few unconventional tips that drastically improve my focus and retention. One of my favorites is using the Matcha Timer technique mentioned in the OCR image. Setting a timer for around 27 minutes allows me to stay fully focused without feeling overwhelmed. After each session, taking a brief pause helps refresh my mind before diving back in. Another underrated tip is combining active recall with timed reviews. Instead of passively reading notes, testing yourself on key concepts strengthens memory retention. I incorporate quick quizzes or flashcards during timed breaks, which turns passive learning into an engaging activity. Additionally, creating a distraction-free environment with dedicated 'study zones' helps me get into the right mindset. I eliminate phone notifications and keep my workspace minimalistic, which significantly reduces interruptions and improves concentration. For sustained energy during long study days, matching hydration and light snacks with study sessions has been essential. Drinking green tea or matcha not only keeps me alert but also provides a calm yet focused energy boost. Finally, integrating productivity hacks like the Pomodoro technique paired with goal-setting makes studying more manageable. Breaking down study goals into smaller tasks and rewarding yourself after each session keeps motivation high. If you’re preparing for finals, I highly recommend experimenting with these five tips. They blend well together and can be adapted to fit your unique study style, making your sessions more productive and less stressful.
