It's incredible to look back at my journey and see how much has changed, especially hitting that -68 lbs mark! When I started this path towards a 100lb weight loss, I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Seeing those before and after pictures really puts things into perspective, and I feel so much stronger and healthier. One of the biggest hurdles on my weight loss journey has been managing PCOS, which I was diagnosed with in 2023. For so long, it felt like an uphill battle, as PCOS can make losing weight incredibly frustrating due to insulin resistance and hormonal imbalances. Understanding this connection was a game-changer for me. It helped me realize that my body wasn't just 'resisting' weight loss; it needed a different approach to address the underlying issues. That's where Mounjaro came into play this past May. After discussing options with my doctor, starting Mounjaro to help manage my PCOS symptoms and aid in my weight loss efforts has made a significant difference. It’s not a magic bullet, but it's been a crucial tool in regulating my appetite and improving my body's response to insulin, which in turn has supported my progress. I’ve heard so many positive stories within the Mounjaro community, and I'm grateful to be experiencing its benefits firsthand. Beyond medication, this 100lb weight loss transformation has been about holistic changes. I've focused on incorporating more whole foods into my diet, paying attention to portion sizes, and finding sustainable ways to stay active. It's not about strict dieting, but rather building habits that I can stick with long-term. Even small steps, like daily walks or choosing healthier snacks, have added up to this amazing -68 lbs milestone. The journey has also been deeply personal, especially with efforts to conceive since 2018. The hope that managing my PCOS and achieving a healthier weight could positively impact this aspect of my life is a huge motivator. It adds another layer of determination to reach my 100 lb weight loss goal. For anyone out there feeling overwhelmed by their own weight loss goals, especially if you're dealing with PCOS, remember that every pound lost is a victory. This before and after snapshot is just one part of my story, and I'm excited to share more practical tips and insights as I continue towards my ultimate 100lb goal. What has been your biggest challenge or success on your journey?
