The fear of the lord seriously changed my relationship with God for the better! Let me explain, the fear of the lord does NOT mean I am scared of God. It means that I understand the power and authority He has and I respect him and love him for it. The fear of the Lord is honoring God. Once that clicked and I started living that out my relationship with God went to a whole new level. How can you try this today? Start in your prayer life and ask God to reveal to you and teach you what it means to live with the fear of the Lord. Then in your prayer time start by giving God praise and tell him how good he is and how much you respect and honor him. Don’t miss out on a God given blessing by forsaking the fear of the Lord by not being kind.
