I quit my job and here’s why…

#lemon8diarychallenge

So I quit my job of one year at walmart due to some of my mental health issues. I’ve been experiencing depression and anxiety in severe levels and find it hard to do anything for even be around people. What sucks about not having a job at this moment is that we’re moving and we have to move by the end of this month which is unfortunate. I’m trying to get a job elsewhere but walmart just wasn’t working for me anymore, especially since it was a job that was 30 minutes away. So there. That’s the reason I quit my job!

note: I live with my family which is 3 other people, and have have mdd and bpd, which are just as severe as my anxiety!

Many individuals face similar challenges in the workplace, leading to decisions that prioritize well-being over job security. If you’re contemplating leaving a job due to mental health struggles, it’s essential to recognize the importance of self-care and seeking help. Resources like therapy, support groups, and helplines can provide guidance. Additionally, exploring other job opportunities that align better with your mental health needs may ease the transition. Understanding your limits and taking preemptive steps to protect your mental health can lead to a more fulfilling work environment in the future. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Connect with others who have experienced similar situations; sharing stories and advice can be empowering as you navigate these decisions.
